Reformation study recordings

Reformation 500 Pastor Darrell Debowey is leading a 5-part study on the theology of the Reformation.  Sessions will be recorded, but we hope you can join us in person! Ladies’ Luncheon

Monday, October 16 12 pm “The Room” Ladies of the congregation and their friends are invited to attend. Arrive when you are able and leave for work or appointments as needed. Bring a main dish, salad, or other dish to share. If you don’t have time to prepare something, still come! Please contact the church office if you need a ride. It’s a wonderful time for food, fellowship, and fun!  

Theology of the Reformation

Public Invited Mondays in October 7 p.m. Zion Lutheran Church On October 31, 2017, the world will celebrate the 500th anniversary of Martin Luther’s posting of 95 theses inviting debate about practices of the Church. Luther and other reformers set in motion changes that would impact many aspects of Western society. For Lutherans, however, the Reformation is less about Luther than about his theology. Members of Zion Lutheran Church invite the public to join us in a five-part study of the theology of the Reformation, led by Pastor Darrell Debowey. Sessions will be held at 7 p.m. on Mondays in October, beginning October 2.  Refreshments will be provided. Zion Lutheran Church is located at the corner of 19th and Garfield Streets.  

Men’s Bible Study

Wednesdays 7:00 a.m. Prairie Rose Cafe 410 S. 2nd St. Men of the congregation and their guests are invited. Join other Christian men for a cup of coffee or breakfast and conversation about God’s Word and current events. Attend when your schedule permits and leave for work or appointments as needed. Study materials are from LCMS publications.
